I do realize that I haven't posted in days. Let me fill you in... I have good news and bad.
So I did not get a Les Paul. =^/ If I don't get one for my birthday this coming June, then I guess I'll have to save up myself. I saw one for $450 somewhere on the internet [[gasp!]].
But the good news is I got a Wii, and Pokemon Battle Revolution. Very addicting. Very, VERY addicting game... And a VERY cute jacket [[Note to self: Post pic of jacket]]. I also found a guitar teacher! He taught me a very interesting way to remember the six strings:

Whoawhoawhoa what was that? Eh. No matter. I'm hungry. Grilled cheese sandwich, maybe? Hm. A penny for your thoughts. Or, rather, mine.
I can't stop thinking about Cory. AKA Mr. Stand up bassist. I'm going with Catherine this coming Spring; the next youth symphony concert. Maybe I can get further than where I am now? That is, if he doesn't, um, have Keith's martial status...

Another one is: from the top (low E) to bottom (High E) strings. Which is the way you tune and the way it's written mostly. Strange that he taught you the other way???

Sorry you didn't get your Les Paul but glad you found a guitar teacher. You'll notice a definite improvement much quicker now. Especially if you haven't taken lessons before. I found myself progressing much faster after I started my lessons. Enjoy that Wii game too. ;)
