I’m so depressed I can hardly type keys. Keith, I can [[almost]] safely say is seeing someone. I think. Emotions prior to heartbreak always seem to happen afterwards, when it hurts most, and you can’t do anything about it. In middle school, it seemed not as many people could tell if you felt down, only those who knew you best, or just people persons. Or, to say the least, nobody cared. Not so in high school, or at least here. Sometimes, all I have to do is walk up to people and they’ll know something’s up, and they’ll ask what’s bothering me. Dane says he normally tries to steer clear of emotions. How could someone possibly escape from something like that?
However, all is not lost. Maybe. On Saturday, Catherine and I went to Caroline’s Youth Symphony concert, and there’s this bassist named Cory [[Corey?]]. He’s a freshman, too. And if Kay, Joey and Robert believe in me, at the least, then I won’t be afraid to say hi to him. Catherine and Caroline think he’d a good match for me. But saying it doesn’t always make it so…
Stay tuned.

Hey Roary, Well that sucks about Keith but you're probably better off without. Sounds like he was too high maintenance and fickle. :) Now this Cory sounds pretty cool. A bassist? I bought my husband an Electric Bass for Christmas so he could play along with me. He loves it! And is very good. Try asking him about his Bass or music, something he's interested in when you first talk to him. Boys love to talk about themselves or stuff they're interested in. LOL. Wow, I hope you get your Les Paul for christmas. They're a really nice guitar. And your dad has a Taylor. Very nice. Excellent guitars. I just went and listend to "Dive" by Steven Curtis Chapman. I love a singer-songwriter and guitar player, like that. He's very good. I posted the video for Saving Grace by Tom Petty on my blog, so you can take a listen. It's under the November postings. It's off his new album. I nailed it yesterday at my guitar lesson. My teacher was very impressed. So was I. ;) Glad you liked my cat and food pictures. I love to cook. And eat! Keep practising your guitar. That's nice you can play with your Dad. That's the best way to learn, playing along with someone else. Be good. Stay in school, don't do drugs or smoke either! It really isn't worth it, seriously. Sorry, had to throw that in, being an adult and all. :) You should check out the posting in November, "Day trip to Banff". There's some great pictures of the part of Canada, where I live. Take care.
P.S. About boys....they are real idiots and jerks at this age, so just be cool around them. Let them come to you. And if your dad says someone you want to be your friend is a "jerk", listen to him, he's probably right. After all he was once a boy too. ;) Don't let them take your interests away from the things that are really important at this time in your life. Like your swimming and music and school. The boys are always going to be there. :)
